What is VVV Staking?

Staking VVV tokens converts them into sVVV (staked VVV). This gives you:

API access to Venice AI (uncensored, private inference)
Staking rewards (currently 80-100% of emissions)
Ability to mint DIEM tokens

Programmatic burns (subscriptions): Every new Venice subscription triggers an automatic VVV buy-and-burn, scaled by tier — $2 for Pro, $5 for Pro+, $10 for Max.

Programmatic burns (API credits): $5 of every $100 of API credits bought on Venice goes to buying and burning VVV. This runs automatically as credit purchases flow through the platform.

Both burn channels appear on Venice’s burn tracker (subscription burns and credit burns as separate line items). Discretionary revenue buybacks can still run in parallel.

Goal: Venice burns exceed emissions → net deflationary VVV with native yield

Important: Locked VVV Earns Less

⚠️ When you lock VVV to mint DIEM, you earn only 80% of the base APR.

Current rates:

Standard staking: ~9% APR
Locked for DIEM: ~7.2% APR (80% of base)

The remaining 20% flows to Venice as compensation for providing the AI compute backing DIEM.

How to Stake VVV

Login to venice.ai - Open your browser and navigate to the Venice AI platform
Token Dashboard - Click on the 'token dashboard' or navigate to venice.ai/token
Connect Wallet - Link your Web3 wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.)
Stake - Click on 'stake' and select the amount of VVV you want to stake
Confirm Stake - Approve the transaction in your wallet

Once confirmed, your VVV is now staked as sVVV and earning daily yield.

Important: 7-Day Unstaking Period

⚠️ Once you unstake, you must wait 7 days to receive your VVV.

During this period:

You earn no yield
You cannot mint DIEM
You cannot use API access

Plan accordingly - don't unstake if you need immediate liquidity.
